WHO manual on implementing preventative chemotherapy against neglected tropical diseases provides generic tools for those involved in planning preventative chemotherapy administration. The publication was released in September 2022.

New WHO guideline--released on February 14, 2022--outlines guidelines for preventive chemotherapy, safety of praziquantel for treatment, WASH and snail control interventions and verification of interruption of transmission of human schistosomiasis.

Global Health Science and Practice Technical Exchange
The Global Health Science and Practice Technical Exchange (GHTechX) took place virtually from April 21 - 24, 2021. The event is curated through a partnership between USAID, the George Washington University, and the Global Health: Science and Practice Journal.
