

All trachoma endemic health districts have reached the elimination threshold of trachomatous inflammation—follicular (TF) of less than 5% among children ages 1-9 years and have stopped mass drug administration as of FY21 (October 2020 - September 2021).

Guinea has a relatively new schistosomiasis/soil-transmitted helminthiasis (SCH/STH) control program in the Act West portfolio, yet eight districts have achieved five to six rounds of effective MDA against SCH/STH and will therefore conduct its first impact assessment survey in 2022.Â
